The Consultation Process

When you make an appointment with our office, we will send you a welcome email from one of our medical record systems, TouchMD (for directions on how to access this, view this page).  When you come into the office to discuss a potential procedure, you will be greeted by our office staff.  We ask that you complete all your paperwork prior to your appointment (forms can be found here).  A medical assistant will review your medical history.  The provider will then personally meet with you to discuss your concerns and goals, perform a physical exam, make recommendations on what procedures you would be a good candidate for, and then review the recovery process and potential complications.

What to Expect During Treatment

Your SuperShot PRP session is a quick, in office procedure typically lasting 30–60 minutes:

1. A small sample of your blood is drawn.
2. Platelet-rich fibrin is processed using the SuperShot PRP system.
3. The PRP is carefully injected into the scalp where hair thinning is occurring.

Most patients describe the procedure as minimally uncomfortable, with only mild discomfort at injection sites.  Numbing cream can be applied prior to injection to maximize comfort.
