Joanne Highfield, RN, BS

Practice Manager – Joanne Highfield, RN, BS, serves as the Practice Manager at Revitalize Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa, where she oversees both clinical and aesthetic operations. She brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience, combining clinical expertise, leadership, and a passion for delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation from Central Michigan University, her Associate Degree in Nursing from St. Clair County Community College, and is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Oakland University.

Joanne began her career as an Exercise Physiologist in clinical cardiology and spent 18 years working in cardiology before transitioning into nursing. She later worked as an operating room nurse at Corewell Health Troy, where she developed extensive experience in surgical care, patient safety, and team coordination. It was there that she met Dr. Elswick, beginning a valued professional partnership.

For the past two years, Joanne has volunteered as a nurse with Trinity Community Care, serving uninsured and underinsured members of the community. Her greatest personal accomplishment is raising her daughter, Harper, who inspires her daily to lead with compassion, strength, and purpose.

As Practice Manager, Joanne oversees staff leadership, medical spa operations, and patient and client experience, ensuring every individual feels supported, informed, and cared for in a welcoming, refined environment.

Kelly

Administrative Assistant – Kelly comes to us with over 30 years in telecommunications, starting as a Telephone Operator. She further advanced her career to become a Business Administrative Assistant, then Auditing, and working with large corporations as a Product Implementation Client Liaison. Here at Revitalize she is the point person for Dr. Elswick’s corporation working in finance and vendor management. Kelly also managed a music store which nourished her love for music. She says she has a Yin/Yang personality, practicing transcendental meditation since 1997 to listening to her favorite Rock-n-Roll music at a high volume. Her favorite quote is, “In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” – John Muir

Madelyn

Medical Biller / Administration – Madelyn started working in the medical field at the age of 16. Her experience has taken her into multiple specialties such as family practice, dermatology and ob/gyn. Through her travels she has learned a variety of front office procedures and enjoys all aspects of the patient’s journey. Here at Revitalize Plastic Surgery she works to ensure that all insurance cases are properly submitted, and that patients’ questions are answered. Outside of work she loves spending time with her two golden retrievers and her family.
